ZZ (Zamioculcas Zamiifolia) plant more popularly known as the ZZ plant tops the list when it comes to the most indestructible indoor faunas. The wide, dark green, glossy leaves pop up the interior and add life to the darkest corners of your space.

This tropical perennial green is native to Eastern Africa which makes it tolerant to extreme conditions. Hence, it makes an easy-going and maintenance-free addition to the lot. 

The ZZ plant has smooth shiny leaves with a lime-green hue when tender and later turns to a darker green hue in maturity. The leaflets are typically one to three inches long. These leaves appear from the thick, bulbous stalks which grow from the water storing rhizomes under the soil.

The ZZ plant is easy growing and non-demanding which makes it a dependable must-have houseplant. But it should be kept away from the reach of children and pets as it can be irritating when consumed.
