Description
The Schefflera Variegated (Umbrella Plant) is a popular houseplant because of the beautiful dark green golden variegated leaves, forming “fingers” in a circle drooping gracefully from a central stalk.
Schefflera species are wonderfully tropical plants that give a pleasing look to the decor. This plant needs two things to give beautiful foliage. Proper light and proper water. Bright indirect sunlight with a soak and dry watering technique goes well for Schefflera.
With minimal to low care Schefflera will grow for years, with a mature Schefflera having about 12 or 16 leaflets from a single stalk, while an immature Schefflera is more likely to have 4 or 6 leaflets.
